Technology centres
Boosted by the growth of the service sector and sustained by a deliberate policy of aid packages aimed at investment, Lorraine's technology centre strategy has paid off with the creation and consolidation of the Nancy-Brabois-Innovation and Metz 2000 technology centres specialising in life sciences, the digital economy and finances (Nancy), and information and telecommunications (Metz).
This regional dynamic really does make sense here at the heart of a European area with such high technological and scientific density!
Nancy
Around a hundred laboratories, educational establishments (with 2,500 researchers and 17,000 students), economic activities, apartment buildings and leisure areas all share a 500-hectare plateau covering the municipalities of Vandoeuvre-lès-Nancy and Villers-lès-Nancy. In total there are over 300 establishments employing just over 15,000 people.Website of the technology center of Nancy
